Fans react to Noctyx Yugo Asuma's sudden graduation due to 'unacceptable behavior'

Twitter fans are bidding a tearful farewell to Vtuber Yugo Asuma after Nijisanji announced the Noctyx Liver’s unexpected graduation.

VTuber agency Nijisanji announced Yugo Asuma’s sudden graduation on Wednesday (December 14, 2022), revealing the creator would cease all activities immediately.

Anycolor, the company behind Nijisanji’s Noctyx, cited the DJ’s activities and behavior as “unacceptable” but didn’t specify his exact actions.

Yugo Asuma was one of Nijisanji’s break-out stars from the male creator group which cemented the agency’s place in the English VTuber industry.

Anycolor announces Noctyx Yugo Asuma’s graduation

When a VTuber graduates, it means they have exited the group. Yugo Asuma’s graduation follows the recent departure of Miyu Ottavia, who left Nijisanji last month after three years at the group. Ottavia personally notified fans on social media four weeks ahead of her official graduation on November 27.

Anycolor’s statement read: “Until today, numerous discussions have been held with Yugo Asuma on what it means to be a Liver affiliated with a company. However, despite our discussions, many aspects of his activities and behavior as a Liver could not be accepted as a company.

“After much deliberation between both parties, as a company that supports many Livers from Nijisanji and Nijisanji EN, we have decided to have Yugo Asuma graduate. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the fans who have supported Yugo Asuma, and we deeply apologize for such an announcement.”

All Yugo Asuma social media platforms have been made private, while the sale of merchandise and voice content will be suspended. He is no longer listed on the Nijisanji website. Noctyx will continue with Alban Knox, Sonny Brisko, Fulgur Ovid, and Uki Violeta.

Twitter users devastated by Yugo Asuma’s sudden departure

Fans and Noctyx members alike have been left stunned by the abrupt exit.

“We know everyone has a lot of questions but we’re also still trying to take things in as well,” Alban Knox wrote on Twitter. “If it’s possible, please give us a little more time. Thank you all for being patient with us.”

Fulgur Ovid tweeted: “We are going to do our best to weather this storm as we always have. In the meantime, please give us the patience to compose our thoughts and allow everyone to grieve and deal with the news however they need to.”

Sonny Brisko claimed Noctyx would never be complete, calling Yugo’s departure “a scar that will never heal.”

“To the person behind Yugo Asuma, from the bottom of my heart I just want to say thank you for everything,” a fan penned. “Thank you for being such a big inspiration to so many of us. Thank you for being our comfort streamer when we needed you most.”

“Although Noctyx is not complete without Yugo, you will always be in our hearts,” a second fan sobbed. “Hope you can walk in the world of music.”

I WILL MISS YOU SO MACH YUGO😭😭😭😭😭😭💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
