Drake Lists His Top 5 Favorite Rappers Of All Time

Earlier today, Drake took to his social media account to show off a list of the rappers he has the most love for. In the past, the Toronto-native proclaimed to be a huge fan of Pusha-T, but after their feud, it’s not likely he’ll be showing respect for T anytime soon.

Regardless, Hot New Hip Hop picked up on the message from Drake earlier today in which he said his favorites were Jay-Z, Lil’ Wayne, The Notorious BIG, Andrew 3000, and one other big name. Drake added Hov to the list, but also a mysterious one, Young Tony.

According to Hot New Hip Hop, Drake and OVO Hush, also known as Young Tony, have been associated since the early days of his career. For instance, Drake first tweeted about his fellow rapper at the beginning of 2010.

In the past, Hot Hew Hip Hop claims, Drake has spoken about Young Tony repeatedly but he has never reached worldwide recognizance yet. Maybe this shout-out from Drake will finally get Young Tony the respect he purportedly deserves.

Drake has been in the news media for a lot more positive reasons over the last year and a half. For instance, earlier this year, Drake explained why he finally chose to show off pictures of his son to the world alongside his baby momma, Sophie Brussaux.

During his appearence on Young Money Radio, Drake shared that he loved his son and suddenly realized that he wanted to share him with the rest of the world. Not long after, Drake was in the news media once again following the release of Kehlani’s new album, It Was Good Until It Wasn’t.

Outlets reported that Kehlani had actually spoken to Drake about what the title should’ve been. When outlets pointed to Drake’s name, rather than taking some of the credit, Drake side-lined the accusation and said that Kehlani made a “soundtrack” to “life.”

As it was previously reported, Kehlani worked alongside one of Drake’s favorite producers, Boi1da. Boi1da has worked with Drake for years on many of his projects.
